Castello di Monterone is just outside the town of Perugia, only 3 km from the historical city center. The castle was built as a military base situated on the way from Perugia to Rome and now it is a place of harmony and peace.

Il Postale is the gourmet restaurant, personally headed by Marco Bistarelli. Il Postale has only 4 tables in the little frescoed room with fireplace, then a fitfh table in the kitchen, for those who like watching the preparation of the chef's creations.
