This splendid Palladian style villa, built in the first half of the 16th century, was enlarged, entirely decorated and furbished in the 18th Century, and is still lived by the Noble Venetian family of Marcello.
Due to the owners passion for the villa, it is renowned for its perfect state of conservation together with its original furnishings, objects d'art and decorations.
Giambattista Crosato released the frescoes cycle in the ballroom on the main floor showing episodes in the life of Alexander the Great on the walls and an Olympus on the ceiling.
Surrounding the villa there is a large and harmonious centuries-old park (18 acres) with a fish-pond, a dovecote tower and a family chapel.
