The Lampugnani family had their castle built in 1452 in the traditional style of the era, surrounded by a water moat and accessible by mobile bridge. Today, the Sulbiate Castle still retains all of its well-kept secrets: its suggestive halls and courtyards, adorned with motifs from the knightly trophies of the time; its vaulted ceilings and relics of ancient frescoes on capitals and arches, the floral decorations from the late Sixteenth Century; the lofty colonnade overlooking the main courtyard; the original historical floorings.
Let yourself be taken in by each and every one of its wonders.
