The hamlet of Borgo I Vicelli is deeply rooted in the life of Florence and its surrounding territory.
The first historical mention of its structure dates back to the 1500s in relation to the Fattoria of San Donato (a local farm) which belonged to the ancient Ospedale Degl'Innocenti of Florence.
From May to October the rent of the location is subject to the reservation of rooms for two nights.
Borgo I Vicelli is the perfect location to hold a wedding reception in the privacy and tradition of a Tuscan estate, with a touch of casual and refined elegance. The nearby St. Catherine's Oratory, a Gothic jewel built in 1354 and decorated with frescoes, lends its enchantment to the celebration of your wedding’s civl ceremony. For the religious ceremony, you can choose from the different churches in the area, among which we recommend the Romanesque church of San Pietro a Ripoli. [show more...]
