A romantic and peaceful oasis full of charm and magic, surrounded by nature and characterised by a poetically rural atmosphere, a few steps from Rome. It is not a dream, it is rather the wonderful truth of Casale di Polline, an old seventeenth-century farm nestled in a hill that dominates the lovely and sinuous Lake Bracciano.
A convenient location that is able to generate a kaleidoscope of unique and evocative scenarios for anyone who wants to celebrate a bucolic and exclusive wedding. Casale di Polline, which for more than a century has belonged to the same family that still lives there nowadays, is an integral part of the current Azienda Agricola Polline (Polline Farm), surrounded by the lovely Natural Park of Bracciano and Martignano. The two lakes are in a vast land of pasture, oaks and luxuriant olive trees.
The location, arranged with attention to the smallest detail and adorned with beautiful hedges that effuse a sublime fragrance of lavender, represents the ideal location for a welcome aperitif in the sunset, when the sunbeams make way for the cradle of the night and the sky becomes an infinite pink carpet that plunges into the waves of the lake. Or for an outdoor wedding reception, where you can perceive a magical and evocative atmosphere and where the romantic wedding-cake cutting takes place under the thousands of stars that are reflected in the huge lake in the valley.
The elegant and simple interiors consist of an old cellar, a huge portico and a wonderful hall with a fireplace that can comfortably hold up to 150 people. It is adorned with a giant window that offers a beautiful view of Anguillara Sabazia, the cultivated fields and the luxuriant hills that surround the entire lake.
Next to Casale di Polline, there is a small Church dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary. It was built at the beginning of the XX century, according to the owner’s will, so that the inhabitants of that time could attend Mass. The private chapel, exclusively used by the bride and the groom as well as the entire farm, can hold up to 50 people on the pews and many others in the lovely and orderly yard that surrounds the Church.
