Once an ancient property of the Odescalchi princes, Ripolo currently welcomes events and exclusive gatherings in its stylish living rooms and generous external spaces.
The estate, a few kilometers away from Rome, is near the town of Trevignano Romano and is framed by the harmonious hills which separate lakes Bracciano and Martignano from the Sabatini mountains.
This green haven was once home to the Romans who, in ancient times, chose to spend long periods of leisure in their villas, far away from the citys frenzy. Presently the vestiges of these ancient buildings, dating back to the epoch of Settimino Severo, may still be perceived as they are scattered throughout the countryside.
The Tenuta di Ripolo dates back to the 17th Century and was a game preserve, before the Odescalchi princes took residence. Nowadays, after a radical restructuring on behalf of the architect and present owner who selected ancient tuff and multicolored stones from antique Etruscan caves as principal materials for its restoration, Ripolo successfully welcomes meetings and selected wedding receptions.
The master villa is divided into four stylish halls, elegantly decorated with ancient furniture and gigantic fireplaces that create a warm atmosphere for a maximum of five hundred guests. The outdoor spaces may welcome around seven hundred guests. Three hundred and fifty guests may in fact be seated around the baroque swimming pool which is adorned by a spectacular statue from the Bernini school.
A particularly suggestive atmosphere may be experienced at sun fall, when the multi layered terraces leading to the imposing. In addition to offering guest a spectacular vision of the true roman countryside,it is only forty minutes away from the city centre and from the principal airport Leonardo da Vinci.
