All of Florence in one glance. This is the incomparable gift that Villa Bardini offers to its guests. It's true, Florence has many panoramic terraces, hills and balconies where you can admire one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world. But from the Villa and from the Bardini Garden the panorama of Florence is truly unique and extraordinary, from whatever perspective one looks at it.
Contemplating the majestic beauty from here, scrutinizing the corners from above and breathing its magic in every view is one of the most evocative experiences you can have. That's why Villa Bardini is the perfect location for an exclusive and memorable event.
It is no coincidence that, this spectacular historical residence located on the Florentine hill that runs down from San Giorgio Coast towards Arno river, has been renamed Villa Belvedere [Villa Beautiful Sightseeing]. Precisely for its incredible panoramic view over the architectural and natural wonders of what was the homeland of the Supreme Dante Alighieri, and many others.
A breathtaking view, it is often said. But this time it's really like that, in the literal sense of the term. Just turn your eyes distractedly to the right or left, and here is Brunelleschi's Dome, Palazzo Vecchio, Santa Croce, Fortezza da Basso, the Baptistery of San Giovanni, the Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio... A unique and rare spectacle, which certainly impressed our Commission, which has issued Residenze d’Epoca Quality Certification to this exclusive location.
The Villa was built in the first half of the seventeenth-century, and already at that time it was famous for its wonderful garden, which exploited the slope of the hill to crystallize in the eyes of its guests the charming views of the city.
Today the garden of Villa Bardini, which is part of the Boboli museum circuit, covers about 4 hectares and includes three different areas that were part of the Villa: the large central baroque staircase, the English forest and the agricultural part. The most scenographic part is definitely the baroque staircase that ends at the Belvedere, surrounded by fountains decorated with mosaics.
Every corner of this wonderful and unique garden is a surprise: from the green theater, obtained in the vegetation in a concavity of the ground, to the two caves, passing through the zigzag roses, irises, hydrangeas and other fragrant plants that elegantly populate it.
In it’s inside, Villa Bardini has 60 precious rooms and splendid salons, where it is possible to realize both events (exhibitions, concerts, seminars, etc.) and sumptuous wedding receptions. All in an incomparable setting, surrounded by a magical atmosphere and immersed in the beauty, history and art of one of the most beautiful and fascinating cities in the world.
