Born from the ruins of an old castle, which dated back to the XI century and belonged to Cattani di Cercina family, Villa Bivigliano is a prestigious historic residence softly nestled on a plateau that dominates the luxuriant hills between Florence and Mugello. This villa was built at the end of the XVI century by the Ginori family, and designed by Bernardo Buontalenti, who was working at Villa Medicea of Pratolino during that period. In the middle of the XIX century, the entire building was purchased by Cavalier Luigi Pozzolini, who went to live there with his family. This exclusive and prestigious residence is preceded by a huge English-style garden, surrounded by two majestic lines of cypresses and an elegant chapel dedicated to St Mary of the Snows. It represents the ideal location for a high-level, unforgettable, and unique wedding. [show more...]
