Grand Hotel Villa Torretta is one of the most fascinating historical villas in Milano.
Located just over the border north-east of Milano, Villa Torretta is a monumental noble residence suburban rebuilt on the site of an earlier building, perhaps fortified medieval.
Some commentators refer that it was a "fortified place adjacent to the nearby Bicocca", and others point out that the Tower "was used as a lookout near the castle of Bicocca." On the other hand, there are texts that support the existence of a long tunnel that would join the Tower Villa Arcimboldi.
